LOOKING FOR IDEAS!!
Rosedale Website Image and Prose Contest
The Rosedale Neighborhood Association website (http://www.rosedale-na.org/) is being updated! We expect that the new site will be announced in late May or mid-June.
To help add excitement and more of a neighborhood flair to the RNA site, we are seeking your help! We invite residents, young and old alike, to submit items for the website.
This page includes the categories of contributions, the submission rules, and the prizes so far.
Categories of contributions
- artwork, photographs, and other images
For example, an updated logo to appear on each page of the site, simple or complex. The winning item(s) will somehow represent what makes our neighborhood unique. Photographs could be used to illustrate various pages and to show what makes our neighborhood so great.
- essays and poems about why it is great to live in Rosedale
Written items will be incorporated into the website, either to add information to existing pages or for inclusion on a separate page that collects these items.
Submissions can be on paper or on-line. Judging will be by the RNA Steering Committee and individuals involved with developing and testing the new website.
IMPORTANT:
- All artwork, photographs, and writing must be original work. It is not allowed to pull items from the Web.
- Winning entries become the property of the Rosedale Neighborhood Association and will be copyrighted by the RNA. The individuals who create the winning items will be acknowledged for their work on a credits page on the website.
Submission Rules
Contest submissions are due by Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at 8pm (this is delayed from the original deadline of May 11th). Entries will be judged by a committee that includes RNA Steering Committee members and others involved in work on the new website. The winners will be announced by mid-June.
